Stale Bread

Mondays are always such tough days to start. I would have to say they are the least favorite of all the days of the week. This morning I am feeling somewhat tired or stale. Not tired as in fatigue but just a little drained emotionally.

I don't know. I was on such a high last week and now I am coming back to reality. The weekend was ok. The only positive was the outing to DC with my friends Susan and Rebecca. Paul and I had to experience no cable or internet all weekend and will not have it back until tomorrow. With his fantasy football league going on, to say he was sitting still is far from the situation.

This week is shaping into a long one. I pray for strength and endurance to get past this tiring trial. Maybe a trip to starbucks and a new book is due, we'll see.

Lord God, I just ask for strength this week to focus on you and the relationships I am forming, to guide my way out of this slight dip. I am optimistic and know you will provide. For I find warmth in your word. "and so it be"

Thanks "T"! I actually ended up going to B & N yesterday but didn't have anything jump out at me. It was pretty sweet that they had a Starbucks inside. So I did get a chance to get at least half of my fix for the day.
