Linking It Up!
I found yesterday as a great overall day. The weather was great and work didn't present too many obstacles. Wednesdays usually are good days; for one it's the middle of the week, and two it's when I have Link Group.
I truly look forward to this day. And I have to admit there could be reason only for Mel's brownies and bean dip, but that's not the case. It is usually God-filled and a night of great conversation and interesting ideas. Last night was no different.
Last night Jenn and Dave had set up different prayer stations to meditate and pray on. The atmosphere and music helped us focus in on the prayer at hand. I just found last night as a night
closely communicating with our Lord. We were spurred to pray for the stray and also reflect on the impactful events and people that have affected our lives. It is just cool to look back and remember, because sometimes we tend to forget. I was also amazed to see the new faces. Keggan from Owings Mills came to join as well as two friends of Jess's, Mike and Christi.
Lastly, I can not and will not forget my Chocolate Mint Truffles. The neighbor's kids were over and I had the privilege to order some candy. I hope she gets the straw-glasses or other prize she wanted to win.
