Big Splash
Have you ever had a long day and just feel all grimy and dirty? And can you recall the fresh feeling after taking that long shower and toweling off? Well, that's kind of how these past two days have been for me.
Sunday's joint service was just the start of this power-wash of a day. The energy felt with the worship and the amazing fellowship united into the one congregation, was almost overwhelming. I still can remember pulling up the driveway of the Hux's with my mouth wide open. I seriously have never seen a place that was not only inviting but magnificent beyond belief. It meant so much to me on Sunday to outward profess my conviction to Lord with Horizon. Though I love my church friends at Grace Community, Horizon is becoming more and more my second home. With my family at a distance it is so joyous to have so many true brothers and sisters in Christ. I truly am seeing them as more than friends. And Sunday helped strengthen those thoughts into a reality. I was pleased to have Dave Cowan baptize me. It was very cool to joke around with him and chill. I feel truly blessed to have such amazing people around me. And with all sincerity say that I felt that the moment I shared with God was with the people I wanted to be with. Ever since I came up from beneath the water I have felt a rebirth of energy. I have been fired up at work and feel like I have an extra step. I just pray that this energy and flame is not smothered. I also hope and pray that this spark I am feeling rubs off on the people around me. Everyone needs a lift now and then. What a great week it will be if I can take this fresh feeling to Sunday. Then I can refuel!!!

Tali,
Left YOU speechless... don't buy it... Only maybe if the Reichley supply of Cherry Pepsi had vanished. :-)
