Identity Theft
I just finished another book, this one titled, “City Impact” by Daniel Bernard. The book absolutely was worth the read. One thing that caught my eye was this concept in one of the later chapters, on this so-called ‘Identity Theft.’
Perhaps you have seen the commercials that catch our attention with wit and humor. These commercials typically use average people doing common things such as mowing the lawn, working out, or other home activities. But as the person starts to speak, rather than their voice, the voice of someone different begins to talk. These voices are out of place and differ as such that they may be in fact a voice of someone of the opposite sex, social status, or age demographic. The voice starts to speak of trips, jewelry, clothes, and other luxuries that were bought with the stolen credit card of the average Joe shown on the screen.
Identity theft is serious thing. So what happens when Satan slowly steals our identity, or even worse, the community’s? This snake I assure you is seeking for more than credit cards and stolen material amenities.

I have experienced identity theft first hand! It's terrible! And in my case, it was done by a family member. Can you believe it? And yes... the same thing can happen to an individual or a community in a metaphorical sense. Something to guard against.
Dave,
Wow, that stinks. And worse, a relative.
Yeah. It's true. When something like that hits that close to home, it rocks your world. But since then, we have reconciled... so, in retrospect, it's all good. Had this happened with someone I didn't know, reconciliation would not even be an option.
