Sabbatical
Since my last post tons of great things have been going on in all facets of my life. Work has been continually great, link group is still becoming ever so dynamic, new relationships are forming and old ones are getting stronger.
I have been really progressing quickly at work and making a huge impression on those around me. It's great, my quality of life at work has really started to feel rewarding. Perspective has played such a role in this. Last month, the company sent me to Anaheim for training and business. What a great time! I plan to head back to CA soon!
Now that work has slowed down, I feel as though I am getting connected again. The interesting thing is that I have seen so much growth since then. My Wednesday Link Group has really grown and tons of new and old faces are coming and communing. I can't wait to see what God has in store for this group. I see the relationships within the group getting closer.
Dave C. and Kimmie have been regularly having people over for some community and cards. I have really enjoyed this time, not only for the competition, but it has allowed me to get to know not only Dave and Kimmie better but all of those that come. I recommend you try it at least once.
Last week, I went out and bought a new set of golf clubs. I felt as though I treated myself. I don't normally spend that much money on myself, but I thought that I was due. This past Friday I got to put them into action.
As many of you know, I have been actively playing soccer regularly. Looking back I am quite curious where the passion for the game came from. I literally just picked up the game about a year or so ago and since then have organized a few teams. Now I am very grateful for all the relationships that have been connected. It was truly awesome to see so many get so excited about the community and sport. I hope I can be apart of more excitement like this in the future.
Currently, I am have decided to take a break from soccer. Though I will miss it, at the same time I know it will free me up to do other things. I am excited for change.
