SUNDAY
What a great finish of a week. My day consisted of church, Ravens football, a crazy and sweaty soccer game, and a fun time of fellowship at the Geek house.
Sunday's worship and service was awesome. All the new faces gave me a glimpse of what's ahead of us. Very cool stuff. It has been a privilege to hear such great sermons from our own Mark S. Great stuff...
Unfortunately, I had to watch the Ravens get stomped by the dogpound. But what's one game really?
I was also excited yesterday for the upcoming soccer game. Due to the holiday, it had been two weeks since we played. The team played pretty good but the great part came in with five minutes or so left in the first half. Tronster, Jess, Susan, Rebecca, and Paul came ready to cheer. I looked over and saw three neon signs of support. One said, "Bank of Banks!" the others were just as clever but I can't recall. I will not forget the fact that Tronster's sign had a nice head shot blown up on the left corner... Pretty funny stuff... and totally Tronster. Losing always stinks but it was just so cool to have your friends out cheering you on. That is true fellowship...Awesome stuff!!! Thanks guys!
After the game we all went over to the Geek house to chill and watch a special Shock trauma series on the Discovery Channel. Marc, Tronster's brother did the audio and some of the clips for the show. It was crazy... We were eating pizza loaded with toppings while we watched bloodied bodies rushed in with urgency. I almost lost it when one knife victim had his intestines in his lap. I think I heard someone say, "tasty". It did give me an appreciation of what Marc does as well as the doctors and nurses.
Overall, it was a great day of hanging out with some of the coolest people...

just to refresh your memory (and embarass you a bit) the phrases of those neon signs were:
"bank on banks!"
"mama banks is super duper proud!"
"put it in the bank, banks"
"banks is money"
and trust me, you will see them over and over and over again. muhahahahahahahaha!
