Refine
Grinding grained pellets into a fine powder. The process that currently I take, to feed the three fish living in my aquarium. See, I recently bought a new kind of food for my fish. The food is designed to float so the fish can manage their eating cycles in moderation. Well, the problem that was occurring was the fact that these pellets were just large enough to not be able to be consumed by the fish in the tank. They attempted to eat with no success.
I was thinking about this the other day, while I was grinding this food up, and thinking to myself of how we as Christians can’t always take everything that is thrown at us. It’s just way to hard to comprehend the vast depth of Christianity and what it is to be holy and living for God. As a mother bird refines food for its young, the feeding of my fish, or any situation where there is a dependency towards another to survive. We as Christians have to depend on God that he will grind and refine our obstacles down so we can be prepared, ready, and satiated.
I continue to look at what areas in my life where I see these metaphorical pellets that are in view, larger than life, but not in reach for me without help. I then think of what I can do in the duration of getting this need met, as we are at the mercy of another.
